Texas Tax Group, Inc. (“TTG,” “we,” “us”) provides Texas state tax consulting services. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website or contact us, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you request a free tax assessment, use the Get Started questionnaire, download a guide, start a chat, or contact us, we collect what you provide. Depending on what you send us, that can include:

  • your name, business name, email address, and phone number;
  • your Texas taxpayer number or sales and use tax permit number;
  • documents you choose to upload — for example, an audit notice or other correspondence from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts;
  • details you share about your tax situation, including anything you type into a free-text field or a chat window.

We also collect limited technical information automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and how you reached the site.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, evaluate your situation, and provide the services you request. If you consent to be contacted, a member of our team will reach out about your assessment. We may also send information we believe is relevant to your situation; you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by replying to ask us to stop.

Confidentiality

Every inquiry is confidential. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not contact the Texas Comptroller — or anyone else — about your situation unless and until you engage us and direct us to.

Information is shared only with the service providers who help us run this website and our business — website hosting and content delivery, form handling and email delivery, marketing automation, website analytics, live chat, and website security — who process it on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, or where disclosure is required by law.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it — which pages are read, and how people find us. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can disable cookies in your browser or use Google’s opt-out tools.

Security and retention

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you send us. We keep it for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you engage us, for the life of the engagement plus the period our professional and legal obligations require.

Documents you upload are treated as confidential client records under that same schedule. If you contact us and do not engage us, you may ask us to delete what you sent, and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to our legal and professional retention obligations. Contact us at any of our offices or at 1-855-TX-AUDIT (855-892-8348).

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date above.
